Recurrency Training

At Halls Flying Service, we take pride in offering comprehensive services to meet the ongoing needs of pilots. Our experienced and knowledgeable instructors are fully authorized to conduct Flight Reviews and Instrument Proficiency Checks (IPCs) in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.

Flight Review

A Flight Review is a mandatory assessment for maintaining pilot proficiency, typically required every 24 calendar months. Our instructors carefully evaluate pilots’ skills, knowledge, and judgment during this review, ensuring they remain safe and proficient in their flying abilities.

Instrument Proficiency Check

Our instructors are qualified to administer IPCs, which are designed to assess and enhance a pilot’s instrument flying proficiency after losing instrument currency. Instrument currency is defined as completing 6 instrument approaches, 6 holding patterns, and tracking 6 navigation aids within the previous 6 months. These checks are required for pilots operating under instrument flight rules (IFR) to ensure their ability to fly safely in challenging weather conditions.

Whether you need a Flight Review or an IPC, Halls is equipped to provide thorough evaluations and guidance to help you maintain your flying skills and stay current in the ever-changing aviation industry.
